The Porto Torres municipal library is participating in the “ May of Books ” with a series of three creative workshops dedicated to the little ones (3-6 years), where reading and art meet to become tools of expression , discovery and inclusion. The first appointment will be held on Thursday 8 May at 4:30 pm and will be dedicated to the artist Paul Klee . The children will meet a mysterious cat and, guided by their imagination, will explore Klee's art made of geometric shapes and imagination.

The common thread of the workshops is inspired by a phrase by Frida Kahlo : "I come from another planet", an invitation to recognize diversity as strength, as the possibility to overcome limits and "see horizons where others draw borders".

At the heart of the project are three workshops dedicated to three artists who, despite having experienced the limits of disability first-hand, have succeeded, through art, in communicating themselves and creating timeless masterpieces.
