Mattarella appoints 25 new Knights of Labor: two meritorious for Sardinia

There are also two top managers of two important entrepreneurial and productive realities based in Sardinia among the 25 new Knights of Labor appointed by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella .
They are Adolfo Valsecchi and Rosina Zuliani.
The first is “CEO of Generale Conserve Spa , producer of canned fish and leader in the high-end tuna market with the Asdomar brand. After having been CEO of companies in the sector, in 2014 he joined Generale Conserve Spa as a director to become CEO in 2015, the year in which he took over 55%. Under his leadership, the Manzotin and De Rica brands are sold to focus on canned fish and the technological modernization of the “ . In 2017, it took over all of the company's shares. Today Generale Conserve, with 13% of the national market, is the second largest Italian producer of fish preserves. It operates with the Olbia plant and the Portuguese one in Vila do Conde. It employs 750 employees ".
The second “has been the sole director of Sgaravatti Geo Srl since 1997, active in the design and construction of green areas and parks in Italy and abroad . When her husband passed away, she took over the management of the company and developed its internationalization with projects in Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Caribbean and other countries. He collaborates with the University of Cagliari on environmental remediation projects of land contaminated by heavy metals and hydrocarbons. It operates in Sardinia through three garden centers, 32 hectares of nurseries and 2,500 square meters of greenhouses, in Cagliari and its province . With a selection of 247 varieties of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, it boasts one of the main collections in Europe. It employs 78 people including engineers, agronomists and architects ".
Today the Head of State signed the appointment decrees, on the proposal of the Minister for Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti and the Minister of Agricultural and Food Policies Stefano Patuanelli .
