He is angry but nostalgic in “Allucinazione collettiva” , a bitter assessment that Fedez surprisingly launched in the middle of the night on his failed marriage to Chiara Ferragni, amid “concurrences of guilt”, accusations and recriminations. In which one can glimpse, perhaps, also a faint hope for a late reconciliation.

But in the promo for the song, produced by Cagliari's Mark Tembo, which in just a few hours has garnered over 23 million views, the rapper from Rozzano is much less generous. "Have you turned into a marriage counselor?" he asks the former Dark Polo Gang in the epilogue (perhaps) of the highly followed dissing in which they have thrown each other's successes and flops, substance abuse, sexual orientation, even bringing up innocent minor children. And he doesn't hold back with his ex-wife Chiara Ferragni either: "'My husband is a s**t' was your exit strategy."

But when he delivered the base that Fedez had asked for, the Sardinian producer Mark Tembo knew little or nothing about the final text.

Thirty-two years old, born Marco Pascalis , since he was a child he was a great fan of American and Afro hip hop culture (which inspired his stage name). He started as a DJ at just 15, when he was still in school. He then became a producer at 22. After a long period in London «I returned to Italy with a very specific goal»: that is, to establish himself in the world of music, and he did it.

Today he lives in Cagliari but works around Italy : he was the open act dj for Tony Effe, Sfera Ebbasta, Noyz Narcos, Dope DOD, Luchè, Shiva and many others. In the hip hop scene he is known as the official producer of Real Talk since 2020, and has collaborated with Kid Yugi, Nerissima Serpe, Rocco Hunt, Villabanks.

A few days ago the channel with Fedez opened. "It all started spontaneously and quickly, with dissing it's like that, you have to respond quickly - he tells L'Unione Sarda -. He knew me, he had heard my bases and he liked them. And so he contacted my manager who sent him the productions. In a few hours I was able to provide him with a targeted folder of productions and he chose one". Did he have no idea what the rapped part would be like? "I didn't need to hear previews. Total trust in his professionalism and ability ". But had he at least received some indication of what it should be like? " No, I went by instinct and I based myself on what Fedez did in the years in which he established himself as a rapper. Let's say that artistically I think I know what is needed for a certain context. And I think I got it right".

He has no intention of expressing his opinion on the clash of music that has been monopolizing the scene and social media for days : "I prefer to remain impartial. But dissing is part of the hip hop tradition. Fedez and Tony Effe make art and they do it well."

Now that the promo for “Allucinazione collettiva” has come out and continues to make people talk about it, Mark Tembo is already thinking about something else : «I collaborate with emerging artists, a job that gives me great satisfaction because I think they are the future of music. And I am focused on a project of mine, a future album that I hope will come out as soon as possible, next year. In time we will have the opportunity to talk about it again».
