Marisa Laurito, by popular demand, is back on tour on the island, under the banner of CeDAC Sardinia, chaired by Antonio Cabiddu, for the piece "Persone Naturali e Strafottenti" by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, an "Altra Scena" production and distribution by by Stefano Pironti for "Chiediscena" on the bill, after yesterday's Nuoro premiere characterized by the enthusiasm of a warm and passionate audience, this evening, Friday 20 January, at the Tamuli Pavilion of the former Mura di Macomer barracks, tomorrow at the Teatro del Carmine in Tempio Pausania and Sunday at the "Tonio Dei" Theater in Lanusei, always at 9 pm.

The famous and beloved actress from Campania, already triumphantly received last spring by her fans in the theaters of San Gavino, Ozieri and Alghero, is the protagonist, in the role that was Pupella Maggio, alongside Giancarlo Nicoletti, who also takes care of the direction, Giovanni Anzaldo and Livio Beshir for a vivid fresco of society:

Four solitudes intersect on a New Year's Eve in Naples between bitterness and desire, anger and disenchantment: a "black" comedy, caustic and irreverent, wanted by the artistic director, Valeria Cabattoni, for the Season of La Grande Prosa 2022-20223.

“Persone Naturali e Strafottenti”, with costumes by Giulia Pagliarulo and light design by Daniele Manenti, Make Up Artist Vincenzo Verdesca, stage manager Claudia Tagliaferro, assistant director Giuditta Vasile, shows an urban landscape very different from the traditional postcard image, putting the accent on the troubled lives of "nocturnal" creatures, women and men, transvestites or transvestites, prostitutes and homosexuals, symbols of a "forbidden" love, between hatred and resentment, desire for redemption, lost illusions and unattainable desires.

Between the euphoria of the celebrations and good intentions for the future, the domestic rituals of a difficult coexistence are consummated in an apartment, with yet another quarrel between the landlady, Donna Violante, a former servant in a brothel, and the transvestite Mariacallàs , a key figure in the story around which the other characters revolve: Fred, a gay student in search of his identity and Byron, a black writer who would like to destroy the world to avenge the ancient humiliations.

Extravagant creatures, full of passion and a little over the top, who embody the most hidden, but no less authentic soul of the city: their lives are marked by fear and pain, by the need to defend themselves and fight, day after day, in order not to succumb, in an often vain attempt to get out of the shadows and make a sort of social ascent, to conquer one's place in the world.

The cast is of the highest level with a shining star of extraordinary appeal like Marisa Laurito who dominates the scene and captivates the audience for her overflowing sympathy and interpretative genius.
