The show " Natural People and Strafottenti " by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi with Marisa Laurito, starring in the role that was of Pupella Maggio, alongside Giancarlo Nicoletti, who also signs the direction, Giovanni Anzaldo and Livio Beshir, one of the highlights of the program of the prose season organized by CeDAC / Multidisciplinary Circuit of Live Entertainment in Sardinia chaired by Antonio Cabiddu and directed by Valeria Ciabattoni.

An extraordinary success that confirms the exceptional public following of the beloved actress from Campania, certainly one of the reference figures of the great Neapolitan theater school.

After the stages of San Gavino and Ozieri, the tour closes on Monday 30 May, at the Civic Theater of Alghero at 9 pm.

A vivid fresco of the Neapolitan city with the comedy, set on a New Year's Eve, against the backdrop of a squalid apartment where the fates of four characters cross, between grotesque and surreal situations, bittersweet irony and a touch of ruthless cynicism, in a writing captivating and full of twists, in balance between the witty and sometimes farcical comedy of Eduardo De Filippo and the raw realism and dreamlike dimension of Annibale Ruccello 's texts.

The excellent performance of the cast offers two hours of great theater with a masterful Marisa Laurito, who returns the popular spirit but also the strange, almost arrogant pride of Donna Violante, after the successful interpretations of Pupella Maggio and Angela Pagano, while Giancarlo Nicoletti lends body and voice to Mariacallàs, icon of those underground worlds which in Naples enjoy special protection and hospitality,

Giovanni Anzaldo , former Ubu 2010 Prize, and Livio Beshir take on the role of the indecisive Fred and Byron respectively, who bears on his skin the offenses of centuries, both in search of the thrill of a night.

Among the most "scandalous" and controversial but also the most successful theatrical works of the unforgettable playwright, director and writer, "Natural People and Strafottenti" marries the modernity of language, at times irreverent and corrosive , to the importance and relevance of the narrated themes , such as cultural and social integration and overcoming prejudices, acceptance of diversity and the right to be oneself.

A work that upsets the canons of representation, while preserving the Aristotelian unity of time and space, to bring to the fore the misery and desolation, but also the courage and determination, fragility and audacity of some metropolitan examples , each apparently armored against adversity, but still vulnerable, at the mercy of events, instincts rather than reason, wounded in body and soul, harsh to the point of wickedness, deprived of everything but not compassion.
