Mariotti: «Video with AI? I knew nothing about it, done by others. And the voice is different from that of Fabri Fibra"

Gavino Mariotti , mayoral candidate for the centre-right in Sassari, denies any involvement in the video which, with the alleged sampled voice of Fabri Fibra, invites people to vote for him .
The law firm representing the rapper is reportedly filing a lawsuit against the author or authors of the video for the improper use of the artist's voice, treated with artificial intelligence .
«The undersigned - declares Mariotti in response to J-Ax, the first to have found a similarity between the two voices - has never published any electoral advert of this nature, nor has he ever commissioned its creation and/or diffusion» . The rector specifies that the video was published on the web without his knowledge "by third parties whose identity I do not know" .
«It is a video - he continues - which presents evident artefacts and manipulations, presumably created with artificial intelligence tools starting from one or more publicly available video recordings of my institutional interventions». Mariotti, however, disputes that the voice of the fake advert can be traced back to the rapper: «A quick listen, in fact, will only make evident the perceptible difference in tone and timbre between the voice of the video and that of the artist sponsored by him ».
Framing the video as a probable gesture of joking, Mariotti reiterates « This is not any form of 'advertising campaign' , as unexpectedly claimed, and that my own image was reproduced in the video in question in the total absence of any form of consent ".
