The Marina Café Noir , the first and longest running literary festival in Sardinia, which has so far hosted over a thousand writers and artists, and thousands of people in the public, is twenty years old.

The work of the Chourmo cultural association is fundamental for this great objective.

In Cagliari from 15 to 17 December the Marina Cafè Noir is preparing to welcome Maurizio De Giovanni, Francesca Mannocchi, Wu Ming, Michela Murgia, Serge Quadruppani, Jennifer Guerra, Francesco Abate, Roy Jacobsen, Igort, Andrea Staid, Marco Amerighi, Alessandro Bertante, and then Gavino Murgia, Jacopo Cullin and many others.

The title and theme of the Festival are Transitions , personal and collective, those «that push each of us to reflect on where we want to go and what we can do starting from the climate transition, geopolitical changes, economic-social structures and gender identities in a new world that Covid is leaving us as a legacy», declare the organizers.

«As always we will try to have a great celebration of knowledge - they add - in the company of the books and stories that have fascinated us and that help us to decipher and better understand the world and the times we are living in. On this occasion many writers, publishers, artists, musicians, actors, directors, anthropologists and thinkers will participate who over the years as guests have become real friends and who in these 20 years have helped us to deal with topics and themes dear to us ».
