Maria Sharapova becomes a mother: here is Theodore, "the best gift"

With these words on her social channels Maria Sharapova announced that she had become a mother .

The 35-year-old former Russian-born tennis player gave birth to his first son, Theodore .

The baby was born in early July, but the champion, who retired in 2020 after winning 5 slams in her career, made the announcement only in these hours, faithful to the discretion with which she conducted the pregnancy, away from the spotlight.

Her partner, the British businessman Alexander Gilkes , 43, is also over the moon, next to her with little Theodore in the photo posted on Instagram and with whom Maria could soon get married .
