A story of love and friendship with "The Invisible Husband" , an original and funny comedy written and directed by Edoardo Erba, one of the most interesting and appreciated Italian playwrights, and starring Maria Amelia Monti and Marina Massironi , in a production " Gli Ipocriti Melina Balsamo” the company directed by Pierfrancesco Favino, will be on stage this evening, Sunday 12 November, at 7pm for the closing of the tour in Sardinia.

The mini tour was organized by CeDAC, the Multidisciplinary Circuit of Live Entertainment in Sardinia chaired by Antonio Cabiddu, as part of the Season of Great Prose.

An intriguing piece full of coups de théâtre desired by the artistic director Valeria Ciabattoni and entrusted to the verve and comic vis of two refined and brilliant performers, two leading artists on the Italian scene, known and loved by the general public, with scenography by Luigi Ferrigno , costumes by Nunzia Russo, music by Massimiliano Gagliardi, lighting design by Giuseppe D'Alterio and video production by Davide Di Nardo and Leonardo Erba.

Focus on human relationships and on the changes dictated by the frenetic pace of existence as well as by the possibilities offered by modern technologies, which allow us to eliminate distances and communicate "in real time", or almost, with the whole world but paradoxically make meetings rarer and direct comparisons, thus making the emotion of a hug, an exchange of glances, a smile, a handshake or a caress more significant and precious.

The play investigates cultural and social transformations, after the terrible and for many devastating experience of the pandemic, with the long and very harsh isolation of the lockdown and the traumas and fears aroused by the awareness of one's own and others' fragility, in addition to the habit of relying to chats, messages and video calls, which in the most dramatic periods of the restrictions imposed by the health emergency represented the only link with the outside world, a fundamental and indispensable window onto the world.

Almost as if the possibility of taking refuge behind a protective screen, sheltered from the storms of the heart, now represented a reassuring alternative to the possibility of getting involved and showing one's vulnerability , and therefore potentially even being disappointed or hurt.

After the successes of the other stages, today's is the last opportunity to attend a show of extraordinary artistic depth both for the unparalleled skill of the two protagonists, highly anticipated by fans and well known to the general public for superlative careers between stage and small screen, and due to the importance of the topics covered.
