Everything is ready for "Su Cranovali Maresu," organized by the "Martis de Agoa" cultural association and the Pro Loco (local tourist board) in collaboration with the Municipality of Maracalagonis. On Sunday, February 15th, the performance of "Su Martis de Agos" will take place, the masked procession traditionally held in Maracalagonis on Shrove Tuesday. "It's an event," says Cristian Mascia, president of the organizing association, "that has deep roots. Three guest masks will also participate in the parade: "Sos Corriolos" (Neoneli), "Su Maimoni e is Ingestus" (Tertenia), and "Is Cerbus" (Sinnai). We look forward to welcoming large audiences."

The groups are scheduled to gather at 3:00 PM at the former Casa Cocco (Church Square). The parade will depart an hour later through the town streets, arriving in Church Square at approximately 5:30 PM for the final mask display. This will be followed by zeppole for everyone, provided by the "Martis de Agoa" Cultural Association.

Also scheduled for Sunday afternoon is the grand parade of masks and carnival floats, organized by the Pro Loco (chaired by Ercole Alfredo Corona), again in collaboration with the Municipality. The program is as follows: 2:30 PM. Assembly of the carnival floats in the sports field square. 3 PM. Assembly of all the masks and themed groups in Piazza Giovanni XXIII. 4 PM. Departure of the carnival parade through the town streets: Piazza Giovanni XXIII, Via Cagliari, Via Maddalena, Via Fani, Via Aretino, Via Cagliari, Via Nazionale, Via Dante, Via Garibaldi, Via Santo Stefano, Via Roma, and return to Piazza Giovanni XXIII. 5 PM. Arrival in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, awards ceremony for the best carnival mask and floats (first, second, and third prizes). 6 PM. Distribution of zeppole, donated by the Pro Loco Marese Tourist Association. The Oratory "San Giovanni Bosco" and the parish of Vergine degli Angeli in Maracalagonis are expected to participate.
