Ten women, ten artisans, ten artists from Selargius: they are the protagonists of the photographic exhibition 'Manus de Oro', an exhibition project by Cagliari-born photographer Sabina Murru , curated by Giacomo Pisano and which will be inaugurated on Thursday 5 November in Selargius, at Casa Cara, within the literary festival 'Anderas 2026 - of sacred and work'.

Twenty black-and-white photographs, two for each of the ten artisans of Selargius, compose a visual narrative of hands, gazes, gestures, and tools of the trade. Sabina Murru's lens explores the everyday nature of women's work , restoring visibility to skills, individual stories, and artisanal practices that preserve a wealth of knowledge and traditions.

In an increasingly homogenized society, Manus de Oro invites us to recognize the value of uniqueness, care, and creativity, proposing a reflection on work as a space for autonomy, personal expression, and self-determination.

Special patron of the exhibition is Tzia Anfasia, an artifact created by the girls and boys of the Anffas Cagliari Ets Foundation.

During the exhibition opening on Thursday, November 5th at 6:30 pm , artisanal creations will be available for purchase at the exhibition venue, with proceeds going to ANFFAS. The opening will be accompanied by music by Andrea Morelli. The exhibition will be open daily until November 14th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Sabina Murru, a photographer from Cagliari with forty years of experience, has developed a research approach spanning portraiture, documentary, stage, and emotional photography. Alongside her photography, she engages in intense training and workshops, including social work and programs that use photography as a means of expression.
