The majority meeting convened by Alessandra Todde to discuss provincial elections and the budget adjustment is underway at Villa Devoto. This is the first Campo Largo meeting since the tensions of recent days, sparked partly by Democratic Party secretary Piero Comandini, who at the party's last assembly spoke of the "substandard" results achieved by the government and the need to revitalize the government's work, and partly by the Progressives, particularly Luciano Uras , who referred to an "executive disconnected from society."

Shortly before the summit, Comandini expressed optimism: " We are convinced that the conditions are in place to continue solving Sardinia's problems. There are many things to do. Now we will have a settlement that will provide the Sardinians with a wealth of resources." Is a change of pace needed? "Politicians should never be satisfied with results."

In recent days, the Progressives were the first to call for a majority meeting. "Today, the main issue is the budget adjustment; it's important to approve it as soon as possible to restore regularity in the approval of the next budget and subsequent adjustments," said group leader Francesco Agus. As for the government structure, a possible review also requested by the party, "it's not on the agenda today, but it's a meeting open to party secretaries, and the remainder of the legislature will also be discussed." As is well known, the Progressives no longer feel represented by Agriculture Councilor Gianfranco Satta, who joined the government as a Progressive. "There are ways to revitalize the government's action and our participation in it," added Agus.
