"I'm very happy in this last period."

Mahmood, fresh from sixth place in Sanremo with Tuta Gold, which is collecting record streaming, tells Verissimo: « Obviously since January there hasn't been time for love, now we have to work and strike while the iron is hot but I'm happy . The 31-year-old singer, originally from Orosei, also told of the terrible experience of the fire at the Torre dei Moro in Milan , the 18-storey skyscraper in the Vigentino district which caught fire on 29 August 2021 and where he had rented an apartment: «It was terrible. It was my first rented house, my first independence. I had to go back to my mother's house. At that moment I was at home with two of my friends, one of them noticed what was happening by looking at the shadow of the building."
