Mahmood to Verissimo: «I am very happy. The love? I don't have time now"
The success of Tuta Gold, the 31-year-old originally from Orosei, is overwhelming: «I strike while the iron is hot»"I'm very happy in this last period."
Mahmood, fresh from sixth place in Sanremo with Tuta Gold, which is collecting record streaming, tells Verissimo: « Obviously since January there hasn't been time for love, now we have to work and strike while the iron is hot but I'm happy . Even when I wasn't suffering I found a way to suffer because in reality I'm someone who always needs to complicate everything." So much so that he underwent psychotherapy: «I went there and I talk about it a lot on the record, it helped me unlock things I had inside me».
In the beds of others, his third studio album, published by Island Records, was released two days ago. «There is a lot of me this time, perhaps more than the other times - he told Silvia Toffanin - I believe that this album is the most empathetic I have ever written so far, because in these last two and a half years I feel I have evolved on a level sentimental".
The 31-year-old singer, originally from Orosei, also told of the terrible experience of the fire at the Torre dei Moro in Milan , the 18-storey skyscraper in the Vigentino district which caught fire on 29 August 2021 and where he had rented an apartment: «It was terrible. It was my first rented house, my first independence. I had to go back to my mother's house. At that moment I was at home with two of my friends, one of them noticed what was happening by looking at the shadow of the building."
