"Tamuli history of a Nuragic village".

It is the Pop Up book created for the Municipality of Macomer by the Esedra cooperative, which has been operating in the field of cultural services for cultural and environmental tourism for 25 years, as part of the Lab project "Tamuli the cult of the dead in the Nuragic age".

It is a unique work of its kind. So important that the outgoing municipal administration, with the former councilor for culture, Gianfranco Congiu, wanted to give a copy to each of the pupils who attend the primary school of the city's institutes.

"A concrete action - underlines the former councilor - to let the little ones and also their families know their own cultural and archaeological heritage".

The decision to publish the book arose from the awareness of a total lack of monographs or specific guides for the archaeological site of Tamuli, one of the most interesting in the area and in the island panorama, made up of the nuraghe and the village, three giants' tombs and by the alignment of male and female betyls. «Hence the idea of telling the Nuragic civilization in a book, written in a simple, effective and exhaustive, but scientific way - say the creators, Rossana Muroni and Francesca Marras - to be destined for the little ones, but also for their families, giving them the opportunity to get to know their own traditions and the cultural and archaeological heritage that Macomer possesses».

The book is conceived as a Pop Up, which contains cropped illustrations in such a way as to take on a three-dimensional shape when the pages are turned, with parts of the text explaining the archaeological site.
