The problem of depopulation, which particularly affects the internal areas of Sardinia, will be at the center of a meeting, organized on Friday 29 September by the Nino Carrus association, in collaboration with the Riabilitare l'Italia association.
"Wish to stay", in fact, is the theme of the event, but also the results of the research carried out, with a survey on young people in the Italian countries, conducted by the sociologist Andrea Membretti, with the collaboration of Stefania Leone, Sabrina Lucatelli, Daniela Storti and Giulia Urso. This is a project to which the Nino Carrus association participates. The guest of the event is the coordinator of the investigation, the sociologist Andrea Mebretti.
Starting at 5.30 pm, curated by the researcher Daniela Pisu and the project manager Giuseppe Salis, the theme "Preview of social research: genres and generations so as not to forget the village of Rebeccu" will be presented.
This will be followed by "The protagonism of the young people of Sardinia", edited by Gian Luca Atzori, president of the cultural association ProPositivo and of the youth councils of Sardinia.
Cooperator Ilaria Onida will present "Wish to return: opportunities and expectations".
The president of the Nino Carrus association, Rosanna Carboni, presents the initiative as among the most important, which concern the territory and the whole of Sardinia.
"The Nino Carrus association - he says - joins the project and carefully follows the proposals of the Rehabilitate Italy manifesto and the various publications, created with the aim of stimulating shared reflections and knowledge, to counteract the marginalization of internal areas. A theme always at the center of our activity, with particular reference to the internal areas of our island".
The event will be presented and coordinated by the journalist Giacomo Mameli.
