The “Teatro Dentro” theatre program promoted by the “Paolo Pittalis” Institute concluded on Friday with the performance of “Macbeth – primo studio”.

The art, education, and inclusion project at the Tempio Pausania Prison concluded with its highly attended highlight, staged on the stage of the institution's 160-seat theater. Seventy outside guests were also invited for the occasion. It was an intense collaborative effort. The actors, all inmates at the Tempio Pausania facility—around thirty of them involved in the performance—performed with attention to detail, engaging in dialogue and interaction under the direction of Chiara Murru.

The visuals were key, with a simple set design, costumes made in the “Paolo Pittalis” tailoring shop, the result of meticulous work coordinated by costume designer Fabio Loi, music composed under the supervision of Tempi composer Mario Garau, and lighting by Loic Hamelin, which helped create the atmosphere and scenic tension.

The emotion at the end of the show was palpable: on stage, in the faces and gestures of the actors, and in the audience, where the audience expressed their thanks with warm and sustained applause. The presentation was attended, among others, by Anna Paola Aisoni, vice president of the Province of Gallura – Northeast Sardinia and deputy mayor of Tempio Pausania, the Bishop of the Diocese of Tempio-Ampurias, Msgr. Roberto Fornaciari, representatives of the University of Sassari's Penitentiary Campus, and numerous project partners.
