"I think Beppe Grillo does what he does best: the comedian. What is important is that he shows that he knows Sardinia and he doesn't know it". The president of Regine Alessandra Todde counterattacks and goes against the founder of the 5 Star Movement, the party - this is, by now - that brought her to the government of Sardinia.

Todde spoke during a press briefing at her debut at the plenary session of the EU Committee of the Regions, answering a question about Grillo's criticisms of her energy policy. In a post, the comedian wrote: "Finally some truth about this cheap environmentalism: enough with the wind, the sun, photovoltaics! We need coal! Let's make an extraordinary revolution in Sardinia."

A jab on the topic of energy, linked to the moratorium approved by the Region, which is part of the ongoing clash with the party president, Giuseppe Conte, to whom the president of the Region is compared.

Grillo, Todde added, "was the founder" of the M5s, "he embodied the anti-system when Italy needed it", but when "a political context learns responsibility, learns to govern and transforms itself, it must have the possibility to transform itself", added the Sardinian governor.
