In Sardinia the four regional councilors of the 5 Star Movement are with Giuseppe Conte after Luigi Di Maio's decision to leave the pentastellati and, together with a large group of parliamentarians, work on the development of a new group, “ Together for the future ”.
"We will continue to carry out our work in the interest of Sardinian citizens alongside Giuseppe Conte who is the figure who embodies in all respects the values of the movement", explains the group leader in the Sardinian Assembly Roberto Li Gioi .
As for the split, he continues, " finally someone has thrown off the mask , so this is the time to start again in a big way with our themes. We have always been there and we will be".
In Sassari, the president of the municipal council Maurilio Murru, who had five stars from the first hour, should remain with the movement. Councilor Patrizia Zallu will certainly stay with Conte "because - she says - I represent the movement". In Cagliari, however, there are no municipal councilors of the M5s.
