There's also a piece of Sardinia at the 60th edition of Lucca Comics & Games , Italy's most important comics fair. Representing the island will be the Cagliari Academy of Art and the publishing house Camena Edizioni, involved in the " Ricco " project, created to promote and showcase the regions through their respective artistic sectors.
The program brings together Italian and French publishers through meetings, discussions, and opportunities for discussion. Stefano Obino, director of the Cagliari Academy, will also be present at the Palazzo Ducale, along with other publishers. " It's a very important showcase for Camena and the Academy ," he says. "We immediately seized this opportunity to showcase what we do at our publishing house and at the Academy."
The Tuscan event thus becomes an opportunity to showcase the work of the two Sardinian entities and engage with the national and international publishing scene. " Here we have the opportunity to meet different realities ," adds Obino, also considering the potential collaborations that could arise from this experience.
