An acclaimed saxophonist on the European scene, and three expert Sardinian jazz musicians to support him: on Thursday the 19th , Bflat in Cagliari will open its doors for a special event featuring a live performance by Luca Teodor Stoll's quartet , a famous name making its very first appearance on the island. Starting at 9:30 PM , on the stage of the jazz club at Via del Pozzetto 9 , the musician will be accompanied by Giorgio Crobu on guitar, Nicola Muresu on double bass, and Vittorio Sicbaldi on drums.

Rooted in the great American jazz tradition , the project's references on stage will range from Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins to Ben Webster , reinterpreting music and composers with a modern, dynamic, and vibrant language . A refined and contemporary vision of classic jazz, in which interplay, swing, and depth of timbre will blend into a strong expressive identity .

Stoll , a notable interpreter of the genre on this side of the Atlantic, will bring his warm and enveloping sounds to the Bflat with impeccable technique , rich in nuance and knowledgeable about the past, but devoid of nostalgia and constantly striving towards the present. Accompanying him on tenor sax will be Oristano native Crobu , resident in Germany and with an internationally renowned career, having previously collaborated with Buddy De Franco , Harry Edison , Bob Mintzer and others. Equally important will be the support of Muresu and Sicbaldi , musicians with great experience, precision and sensitivity, considered in all respects two cornerstones of island jazz .
