Peace has been made between Loredana Bertè and Renato Zero: the 74-year-old Roman singer made an appearance in La Spezia on the stage where Bertè was performing.

Zero appeared behind her as she was singing "Una stupida scusa," her collaboration with Boomdabash. "I really wanted to come all the way here to remind Loredana that these are the best years of our lives. Loredana, a legend!" Then a warm hug.

Bertè and Zero met in the 1960s at Rome's legendary Piper Club. Together, they took their first steps in the entertainment world with their first live performances, a bond that practically made them brothers.

Almost thirty years ago, in 1996, they broke up over financial issues related to an album, so much so that Bertè sued Zero for the rights to some of his songs. "I miss him so much, maybe I feel the need to reconnect. It depends a lot on him. He's always been there in my life; so now that we haven't spoken for years, I miss him a lot," Bertè said during an interview on Belve, Francesca Fagnani's Rai2 show. Yesterday, peace.
