There were supposed to be 149, but in Bidonì, a town of 113 in the province of Oristano, no lists were submitted . A possible runoff election is scheduled for June 21 and 22: the three with more than 15,000 inhabitants (Quartu Sant'Elena, Sestu, and Porto Torres) and, from this round, the provincial capitals that also have fewer than 15,000 inhabitants: Sanluri and Tempio. This round involves 27 municipalities in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 27 in the Metropolitan City of Sassari, 13 in Gallura, 20 in Nuoro, 7 in Ogliastra, 37 in Oristano, 11 in Medio Campidano, and 6 in Sulcis Iglesiente.
