Literature and theater in the hot summer of Mandas

Mandas summer is full of literature and theater .

On Wednesday 20 July, the last evening of the Salotto Letterario review promoted by the municipal administration and the Acli di Mandas in collaboration with the Carta Bianca association of Cagliari and the artistic direction of Fabrizio Manca Nicoletti is scheduled.

In the former Town Hall in Piazza IV Novembre, from 6.30 pm, the books "Storie toghe di Cagliari" by Marcello Cocco, "The pioneers of Sardinian football: 1902 - 1935" by Mario Fadda and "Manual of investigations on the causes of fires and explosions ”by Luciano Cadoni. The mayor Umberto Oppus, the deputy mayor Umberto Deidda and the councilor for Culture Giulia Argiolas will participate .

"Culture does not go on vacation - said the mayor -, also this summer, in collaboration with local associations, we are promoting various initiatives that aim to bring young people closer to reading and theater". In the previous events of the Salotto the books "Las Obrerias de Bary and the Causa Pia by Don Bernardino Pes" by Gian Luisa Carracoi, "The churches of Cagliari" by Monsignor Antioco Piseddu, "Farfalle" by Emanuele Cioglia, "La ninna sleep of the dog and the bunny ”by Mariagrazia Dessì and Marianna Maxia,“ The Italian in time ”by Enrica Stroscio.

The review “Teatro in Domu” organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Pro loco, the Acli, the Cif and the Kreos association also continues. On Thursday 21 July, at 7.30 pm in the Childhood Park, the show “Barracca and puppets with Pinocchio” by the Tragodia Company will be staged. The next appointment with the theater is scheduled for Thursday 28 July, at 9.30 pm in Piazza IV Novembre, with the Origamundi Company and the show “The heroes of Sardinia”.
