Lucia Zagaria, wife of Lino Banfi and mother of the actress Rosanna who this year also participated in Dancing with the Stars, died at the age of 85. She had been suffering from Alzheimer's for some time, her maiden name was Lagrasta, then she took the surname of her husband Pasquale Zagaria, aka Lino Banfi.

The sad news was given by her daughter with a post on Instagram, in which she published a photo of her mother as a young man with an ice cream in her hand: «Hello mami, now you are like this again. Safe travels,” he wrote.

Lino Banfi and Lucia Zagaria had been married for over 60 years and gave birth to two children: Rosanna, in fact, and Walter, director and producer.

Lino Banfi has always been close to his wife in the long term of the disease, also for this reason the popular Apulian actor became a testimonial of the vaccine during the pandemic: «My wife and I have been vaccinating ourselves against the flu for twenty years, by dint of doing it all the years the physicist has more antibodies. In addition, this year we also made the pneumonia vaccine because the evil before Covid is pneumonia, like gastritis is to ulcers ».
