"What Europe for Businesses?": Under this title, Confindustria Sardegna brought national leader Emanuele Orsini and Enrico Letta, the former prime minister who drafted the EU Market Report, a report commissioned by Brussels, to Cagliari. Also present were President Alessandra Todde and MP Salvatore Deidda, who heads the Transport Committee in the Chamber of Deputies.

Two major topics were discussed: transportation and competitiveness. Letta addressed air travel to Sardinia, highlighting the need to "improve territorial continuity, and to do so requires a united effort in Brussels." Letta also addressed the cap on fares for non-Sardinian residents, because otherwise "access to the island is being denied."

Orsini's reasoning revolved around "competitiveness and cohesion," which are necessary to "face the crisis. Today with wars, yesterday with tariffs, and even before that with the pandemic. We must ask Europe to revise the Stability Pact, we must lower energy costs, we must enable our businesses to operate."

Greetings on behalf of Cagliari were brought by Mayor Massimo Zedda, who also spoke of "shared battles."
