Leonardo Cioni called up for the Under 14 national team

Cagliari Calcio's Under-14 goalkeeper Leonardo Cioni, from Pula, has been called up to the Italian national football team tryouts. The Municipality of Pula extends its "warmest wishes to the young citizen. Congratulations, Leonardo! Pula is rooting for you."

At just 14 years old, Leonardo Cioni, as a goalkeeper, has already achieved important milestones: he started all 22 matches of the national Under 14 championship; he distinguished himself as the best goalkeeper in Group A for goals conceded, and was unbeaten in ten of the matches played.

He is currently involved in the final stages of the U14 national championship.
