Ten days before Salmo's live performance, which will open Lebonski Park in Arzachena with a bang, a successful experiment already underway in Milan, the organizers, led by Sebastiano Pisciottu, brother of the Olbia rapper, have revealed the program for July 25th and the project for the theme park, currently under construction in the former riding stable area.
The park will host the stage for Salmo's live performance and, for the following month, from July 31st to August 24th, will offer pure entertainment with attractions such as a 40-meter-high panoramic tower, paintball and basketball courts, a Jurassic trail with animatronic dinosaurs nestled within a forest, and an inflatable ride. There will also be a refreshment area featuring mainly local products, complete with shaded areas and tables. "My brother and I's first thoughts were families, and then the concert," Pisciottu explained this morning during the press tour. "We conducted a study which showed that three times a week, families go to theme parks because it brings them together. If we're happy with this year's experience, we'll expand the offerings in the future throughout the season," the Gallura-born manager added before moving on to the concert. “With the July 25th event, we wanted to offer a festival experience on a single date, with two stages within the area, one for Salmo's concert and another for the post-concert.”
On the day of the concert, the park will open at 3:00 PM, while access to the concert area will be possible from 6:00 PM. The concert will end around midnight, but the public will be able to enjoy live music and more until 2:00 AM. "The ability to enter the park before the concert and then leave at leisure afterward, enjoying the other attractions available, was designed to allow people to return home smoothly," Pisciottu emphasizes. In short, before and after the concert, with the lineup and guests (with the exception of Gabry Ponte, who was announced two weeks ago) still top secret, those entering Lebonski Park will be able to enjoy food, drinks, games, and music. On July 25th, only concert ticket holders will be allowed to enter the park—an estimated 20,000 people will be in attendance, with supervised parking and shuttle services to Lebonski Park—while from July 31st to August 24th, access to the park will be free, with individual activities available for purchase.
"We've been thinking for some time about a project to enhance the old riding track area with something to offer to a constantly growing area," said Arzachena's mayor, Roberto Ragnedda, who was present this morning. "We're opening with a big event: I don't have to introduce Salmo, we're very proud of this concert, especially because this area deserves to stand out for its quality offerings."
Last but not least, Councilor for Sport and Entertainment, Nicoletta Orecchioni, commented: "We had an idea for this area, and Sebastiano and I immediately found a solution. Lebonski Park seems like a project tailor-made for Arzachena's ambitions, and Salmo is a Sardinian who has achieved significant success, yet has always maintained a strong connection to his homeland, and this represents a great cultural and social value."
