The International Travel Literature Festival dedicated to the British writer David Herbert Lawrence effectively concluded with the presentation of the Lawrence Prize for Journalism to Anna Piras, Deputy Director of Rai Parlamento (who spoke with Sergio Nuvoli). The seventeenth edition of the Mandas cultural festival, a must-see event for literature enthusiasts, had the merit of placing women at the center of the debate: culture can be an important tool for emancipation and social awareness against violence against women. It is no coincidence that the theme chosen for the 2025 edition of the Festival was "You Are Not Alone."

Before the Lawrence Prize was awarded, the book "Rocco and the Mystery of the Golden Butterfly" by Pamela Pingiori was presented in the municipal library of the former Convent of San Francesco. "One of the highlights of the day was the beautiful video by the students of Class 3A, who deserve our compliments, along with teachers Stefano Pisano and Maria Pina Enis, for their masterful account of Lawrence's journey to Sardinia," said Mayor Umberto Oppus.
