James Webb Space Telescope launched into space. An Ariane 5 rocket took off at 12:20 from the Guyana space center to send the telescope, an instrument that should revolutionize the observation of the Universe, into space.

Heir to the more famous Hubble, the James Webb Space Telescope is the result of a collaboration between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

After a short flight (27 minutes), the separation of the observatory will be injected into its final orbit, about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.

The James Webb should allow us to observe, at least this is the intention of its creator, the first galaxies that appeared after the Big Bang. But also exoplanets or the formation of stars.
