Throughout the entire territory of the old province of Nuoro it is increasingly difficult to proceed with notifications, the act at the basis of the trials. In the court, the office is practically empty of staff, from September there will be just two officials, while the delivery system with the Italian Post Office has proven to be inefficient.
The alarm was raised a few days ago by the president of the court Mauro Pusceddu himself, according to whom there is a risk of paralysis of the entire judicial activity. Pusceddu had appealed to politics for urgent intervention. Action supported by the lawyers who this morning in the assembly decided to abstain from the hearings for a week.
The council of the order will indicate the dates in the next few days . For the president of the Nuoro bar association Lorenzo Soro «it is a painful decision but the only one that could have been taken in the face of such a serious situation, where the entire judicial activity is at risk. Urgent political interventions are needed. We cannot go forward like this."
