Painting as an opportunity for growth, sharing, and discovery. This was the spirit that inspired the final exhibition of the Università della Terza Età of La Maddalena, hosted in the atrium of the town hall and visited by numerous residents and curious onlookers. The exhibition showcased works created throughout the academic year by students enrolled in the art workshop led by maestro Lino Pugioni, a key figure who has long guided students on a journey of technique, experimentation, and creativity.

The works on display highlighted the artists' work over the months of activity , offering a rich snapshot of color and atmosphere. From coastal landscapes to natural vistas, through views inspired by everyday life, each painting conveyed a different sensibility, testifying to the artists' commitment and passion.

In recent years, the workshop has chosen to explore watercolor painting, a form of expression that requires precision, control, and the ability to interpret the effects of water and color. This is a challenge the students have embraced with enthusiasm, achieving increasingly mature and personal results. Particular attention has been paid to techniques that allow for the creation of soft hues and plays of light, elements that characterize many of the works on display.

The program allowed participants to gain greater expressive autonomy and develop a recognizable style. The group, composed of approximately twenty students, represents one of the most dynamic groups at the University of the Third Age. The exhibition has become a highly anticipated event, showcasing the work accomplished throughout the year and creating a meeting point between the artists and the community.
