The Danish home and garden chain, boasting pure Scandinavian style—present in twenty regions with 105 stores, including five in Sardinia—is renovating existing stores, in addition to new openings. This new concept offers customers greater inspiration and a modern shopping experience. This is a source of satisfaction, as its customer service is considered excellent in the furniture industry.
On Friday, October 10th, at 9:00 a.m., one of five JYSK stores in Sardinia will open in Oristano , at Via Cagliari 43/45, following its redesign. To celebrate with customers of the Danish chain, known for its Scandinavian Sleeping & Living offerings, a special sale has been organized—valid until October 15th—with discounts of up to 75% on over two thousand items from the wide selection of home products, including furniture, home textiles, decorations, pillows, mattresses, and bed sets, to name a few. Customers who visit the store on opening day will receive an additional 10% discount.
The JYSK store in Oristano has also been renovated according to Store Concept 3.0 , a new spatial concept that applies to all new JYSK stores internationally and offers customers greater inspiration and a modern shopping experience. The layout makes it easier to navigate the aisles and orient themselves among the countless, captivating offerings. Among these, at the JYSK store in Oristano , you can discover all the new additions to the Nordic Mood Christmas collection , inspired by the brand's Scandinavian roots and the intense green of Nordic pine forests. The new Christmas collection will bring a warm and magical atmosphere to your home, helping to create a vibrant home environment in pure hygge style. This typically Danish expression, pronounced hüghe—with a slightly aspirated initial h—represents the pursuit of daily happiness, a philosophy of life based on a sense of well-being, comfort, and a sense of sharing.
Present in twenty regions, to ensure and support expansion, JYSK Italy has more than one hundred open positions throughout the country with as many opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment founded on an international culture where teamwork, development, and results are the common goals.
With 105 stores and over 900 employees nationwide, JYSK recognizes the value of its sales force, which is also one of the reasons for its success worldwide. This is confirmed by the Top Employers Italia 2024 and 2025 Certification, the official recognition of corporate excellence in strategic human resources policies and management and their implementation to contribute to employee well-being, improve the workplace, and enhance the world of work. This is a testament of esteem that JYSK Italia received in January 2025 from the Top Employers Program, which has recognized and certified more than 2,200 Top Employers in 122 countries worldwide.
This is now complemented by UNI PdR 125:2022 certification for the adoption of a gender equality management system, the result of JYSK's ongoing global commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through robust and innovative people management processes (from recruitment to performance evaluation, from training to internal growth and career development) and the numerous engaged employees with a strong sense of belonging within the company.
"Our ambition is to be the first choice for those seeking opportunities in the retail world. We believe that our employees are the key to our success. That's why we're committed to offering not only an attractive work environment, but also growth opportunities and the incentive to take on new challenges within the company ," says Cesare Bailo, CEO and Country Director of JYSK Italy. To support our rapid growth in the Italian market, we need the best talent who can grow with us, constantly taking on new experiences and responsibilities within the company. Over the past year, we've achieved extraordinary milestones: we celebrated 15 years of JYSK in Italy and completed our presence in all 20 regions of the country. Among the awards we've received are Top Employer and Gender Equality. Furthermore, we've served a growing number of customers, recording increased sales and increased brand awareness. These successes are the fruit of the commitment and teamwork of everyone who contributes to JYSK's growth every day, both in stores and at headquarters .
