Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli underwent surgery to suture the external meniscus of his right knee.

" The operation , performed by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet in the presence of the Club's doctor, Dr. Marco Freschi, at the Hôpital Privé Jean Mermoz in Lyon, was a complete success ," the Juventus club announced in an official statement.

The Juventus captain will begin his rehabilitation program tomorrow and is expected to return in five or six months.
