The American actor Jeremy Renner , the famous " Hawkeye " of the Avengers saga , returns to social networks and updates fans on his health conditions with a post on Twitter.

On January 1, 2023, he was hit by a "snowcat" outside his home in the Lake Tahoe area (Sierra Nevada, USA), risking his death. The accident occurred while he was trying to help some relatives who were stranded with their car due to bad weather . His situation immediately appeared critical : he underwent a series of surgeries and risked losing a leg . But after more than two weeks in the hospital - in intensive care - he returned home five days ago , although the psychophysical recovery is still far away

In the tweeted photo, he shows himself from behind, on his bed, during a physiotherapy session. “I want to thank everyone for the messages and thoughtfulness. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 broken bones will mend and grow stronger, just like love and family ties do." The optimism of his supporters is skyrocketing even though a source close to him would have confessed to the press that it will take at least two years before he can go back to living a "normal" life .

«The morning workouts, the resolutions – Renner writes again – have completely changed in this particular new year, born of a tragedy for my whole family and quickly transformed into love».
