“Jeff” Onorato appointed Commander of the Italian Republic

Jeff Onorato was awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by President Sergio Mattarella . The citation was: "For making sport a tool for inclusion."
Gianfranco, “Jeff”, 73 years old, born in La Maddalena, instructor of the Italian Water Ski Federation and multiple world champion in the figure specialty, despite a dramatic accident, has managed to achieve his goals in the sporting field and to transmit his passion also to children with disabilities.
Mattarella has awarded 31 honors from the Order of Merit of the Republic to women and men who have distinguished themselves through their social commitment. The award ceremony will be held at the Quirinale Palace on March 3 .
