Some raced in search of their personal best, others wanted to put on kilometers for the races on the track. Others were mere enthusiasts eager to enjoy a day outdoors. The fact is that the thirteenth edition of "Crai Cagliari Respira", organized by Paolo Serra's Cagliari Marathon Club and staged this morning through the streets of the capital, is archived with an excellent response from the public and athletes, in total about 2000 engaged in the half marathon, in the non-competitive 6 km race and in the relay half marathon.

In the men it was Khalid Jbari, standard bearer of the Athletic Club 96 Alperia, able to finish his fatigue triumphantly in 1h'07''19, while Raimonda Nieddu of Cagliari Atletica Leggera won among the women at the end of a head race , conducted with maturity and tenacity that allowed her to sign an excellent 1h16'54 ''.

The many people who participated in the event were thrilled, concluding in the exhibition center in Piazzale Marco Polo an event of great importance for Sardinian athletics, which returns to give emotions after a year of stoppage caused by the pandemic.
