Jazz notes by Mario Rosini (voice and piano) and Savio Vurchio (voice) on May 5, at 9.30 pm, at Bflat in Cagliari. In live a vast repertoire with the sign of the musical genre born in the United States at the dawn of the twentieth century. Rosini teaches "Jazz singing" at the "Duni" Conservatory in Matera.

In 2004 he won second place at the Sanremo Festival with the song "Sei la vita mia" and third place in the critics' prize "Mia Martini". Since 2008 he has held the position of president of the artistic commission of the award dedicated to the singer-songwriter. Collaborated with   Rossana Casale and Mick Goodrick and participated in the musical tours of Anna Oxa, Grazia De Michele, Mia Martini and Tosca. Jazz is a constant point of reference in his musical journey. Among the latest works there is the disc "Wavin time" with the Duni jazz choir and the participation as a chorister and musician for Massimo Ranieri's album "Tutti idreams still in flight".

Savio Vurchio, in his career, has collaborated with various bands, including a Cuban orchestra. He ranged from soul to funky to acid jazz. On television he was appreciated, in 1995, in the program "King for a night", hosted by Gigi Sabani, where he obtained the critics' award. In 2013 he presented himself on The Voice of Italy, with a version of Man's Man's World by James Brown. In 2020 he took part in the third edition of All Together Now, hosted by Michelle Hunziker with the participation of J-Ax, Rita Pavone, Anna Tatangelo and Francesco Renga.
