A high-quality cultural program, in the vibrant heart of the small and often overlooked region of Planargia, which has never been short of history and art: a commitment that the Casa del Popolo of Bosa has courageously carried forward for some time and which , despite the recent closure of the historic headquarters, remains active for the community . December 26, 27 and 28 will in fact be the debut dates of Jazz in Bosa , with the former Capuchin Convent at Corso Garibaldi 6 serving as the setting for jam sessions , masterclasses and live performances, with the Salvatore Spano Trio and Giorgio Crobu Trio .

In a " winter edition " whose calendar of events is described as collective jazz music meetings dedicated to ensemble playing and improvisation , the event will open at 8:30 pm on Friday the 26th with a concert by the Salvatore Spano trio , led by the pianist and composer of the same name, accompanied by Salvatore Maltana (double bass) and Massimo Russino (drums). A jam session open to the public is scheduled at the end of the concert, as will the closing performance the following day: again at 8:30 pm on Saturday the 27th , the stage will be taken by Giorgio Crobu and his trio , with the guitarist and composer supported by Costantino Agus Demontis (double bass) and Alessandro Garau (drums). Entrance to the concerts will be free on both occasions .

Reservations are required for the two masterclasses on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th , led by Spano and Crobu themselves as teachers . On both days, the first meeting, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm , will focus on " Theory, Instrumental Practice, Improvisation ," while the afternoon lesson from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm will focus on "Ensemble Music."

In its first edition, the Jazz in Bosa festival is organised by the Casa del Popolo Bosa collective in collaboration with the Roba Di Amilcare and BosaCrea associations , with the support of the Municipality , the Region and the Fondazione Sardegna .
