Jasmine Paolini is in the final of the Internazionali d'Italia , the first Italian tennis player to do so since 2014, when her current doubles partner Sara Errani was defeated by Serena Williams.
The Italian prevails in the semifinals over the American Peyton Stearns with a score of 7-5, 6-1 . She wins a very complicated first set, in which she was down 5-3 and had to cancel three set points from her opponent, and then runs riot in the second, also taking advantage of a decline in the American.
Paolini will play the final on Saturday against the winner of the match between American Coco Gauff and Chinese Qinweng Zheng .
Tomorrow, instead, she is busy in the doubles semifinal together with Sara Errani.
