Max Verstappen's Red Bull won the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix.

The Dutch world champion preceded the McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Charles Leclerc's Ferrari came fourth, while Carlos Sainz's other Ferrari finished in sixth place.

Fifth position for Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes and seventh for teammate George Russell. Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin was eighth ahead of the Alpine Renaults of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly.

Thanks to Verstappen's victory and a record season, Red Bull won the Constructors' World Championship with six GPs to spare before the end of the 2023 season. For the Austrian team, this is the sixth title in its history.
