Few series like "The Bear" have been able to excite the public as has happened in the last two years of television. The show created by Christopher Storer available on the Disney+ streaming platform has received a dramatic reception, to say the least, among the awards received at the previous editions of the Golden Globe and Emmy Awards - including the one for best leading actor in a comedy series for Jeremy Allen White - and the magnet effect on those who, in addition to the attraction that the world of starred cuisine boasts, cannot do without a plot with a high emotional content surrounded by absolutely irresistible characters.

Among the countless difficulties that lead the Italian-American chef Carmine Berzatto to realize the dream of his own restaurant, managed together with a team of unlikely and loyal collaborators, an invasive past returns to make its way which has profoundly marked his experience, conditioning it the way of thinking, acting and relating to others . What also left the audience completely amazed was the appearance of some special guests in the episodes of the second season. In addition to the extraordinary Bob Odenkirk - the Saul Goodman known in "Breaking Bad" - the Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis took part in two episodes in the role of Carmy's mother, with an interpretation worthy of the most intense and engaging Hollywood performance .

Before the second season made its debut, Curtis maintained the most absolute secrecy about his engagement, so as not to betray the surprise effect in any way : «None of us said a word to anyone, nor to our families, nor to our our friends, to no one. They changed the name on the buses, on the vans, our names were not on the papers. We went to Chicago. There was no connection to the show. There was no word Bear anywhere. I stayed in a hotel, the hotel didn't know who was paying for my room. It was a secret until launch day."

Given the enthusiastic reaction to the discovery of her involvement, the actress states with a bit of healthy self-satisfaction: "I'm a weapon of mass promotion, someone who's really good at getting the word out." The episode “Fishies” allowed the actress to take an active part in the tumultuous past of the Berzatto family, where together with the other members they go through different relationships in a climate of mutual love and conflict. On his personal Instagram profile, Curtis defined the role at the time of its release as “The best of his life”, and to his comment he added: «There is no person in the world who cannot understand what it feels like to be close to someone like Donna Berzatto. I definitely have my experiences."

As regards the experience on set, however, it was a very precise and well-timed job, which saw the interpreter busy for four days without potential distractions: « I was asked to come, it was wonderful . I showed up, did the work, went back to my hotel room, went to bed, and so on. I only stayed there for four days and then I went back to Los Angeles. I was sitting on the plane and thinking: wow, that was intense."

More and more impatient for the advent of the third season, awaited with the premiere on FX starting from June 27th, we have finally been able to draw the first previews from the official trailers released last May. As reported by the television station, once again chef Berzatto will be struggling with the attempt to launch the restaurant towards the highest standards of excellence and refinement, between tireless research in the art of cooking and the intricate situations with his assistants, who once again they will enjoy the interpretation of Ayo Edebiri as assistant chef Sydney Adamu and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as cousin Richard "Richie" Jerimovich. While waiting to discover the debut date in our country too, we wait for all the next information.
