An exceptional event for the closing of the project, promoted by the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Cagliari Maria Francesca Chiappe, “Si muove la città”, the itinerant summer festival in the capital with free admission, promoted by the municipal administration, and conceived to offer opportunities for entertainment and cultural enrichment to the citizens, and to the many tourists and visitors present in the city and on the southern coast.
Tomorrow, September 9, at 8:30 pm the event will stop in Piazza Paese di Seui for the screening of the film “The Man Who Bought the Moon”, a national box office hit in terms of average copy at the box office in 2019, starring Jacopo Cullin, Stefano Fresi, Francesco Pannofino, Benito Urgu, Angela Molina and Lazar Ristovski.
The surprise for the audience will be to find in attendance the protagonist of the award-winning film by Paolo Zucca, Jacopo Cullin, the very well-known actor and director from Cagliari, now a celebrity on the small and big screen as well as a star in the theatres of the Island with his latest show "E' inutile a dire" which has sold out all over the Island and also in important theatres in Rome, Milan and Bari.
Cullin, together with the director from Oristano, will introduce and comment on the screening for the delight of the audience.
A pair of Italian secret agents (Stefano Fresi and Francesco Pannofino) receive a tip from the United States: it seems that someone in Sardinia has become the owner of the Moon.
Which, from the Americans' point of view, is unacceptable, given that they were the first to set foot there and plant their national flag there.
The two agents then recruit a soldier (Jacopo Cullin) who, behind the false name of Kevin Pirelli and a marked Milanese accent, hides his Sardinian identity: his name is in fact Gavino Zoccheddu and he has Sardinia inside him even if he doesn't know it.
To transform him into a true Sardinian, a unique cultural trainer (Benito Urgu) is hired.
At this point, all that remains is to solve the case: who bought the Moon? And why?
For those who missed this Sardinian road movie, conceived as a bizarre, ironic and hilarious comedy, this will be the right opportunity to rediscover it, an opportunity enhanced by the extraordinary presence of Jacopo Cullin and Paolo Zucca.
