Italy coach Gennaro Gattuso has named a 27-man squad for the two-legged World Cup qualifier against Estonia (October 11 in Tallinn) and Israel (October 14 in Udine). Among them are two Azzurri players making their first-ever call-ups: Hans Nicolussi Caviglia of Fiorentina and Nicolò Cambiaghi of Bologna. Matteo Gabbia and Bryan Cristante, who have been absent since October and June 2024, respectively, are returning to the Azzurri jersey.
