A young mother of 24 years old – Mariagrazia Bedin – lost her life last night in a car accident in Fondi (Latina) while her baby son of a few months, her 22-year-old partner who was driving and the latter's sister were all transported to the hospital. The child, in serious conditions, was transferred by helicopter ambulance to Rome.

According to what has been reconstructed so far, the Volkswagen Golf in which the four were traveling went off the road and overturned. On site, in addition to emergency vehicles, the fire brigade and the traffic police.

After the tests AH, the 22 year old driver of the car and father of the child, tested positive for alcohol and drugs.

After being discharged from the hospital he was transferred to house arrest by the Formia traffic police.

The accident occurred in front of the 24-year-old's other two children, who were traveling with their grandparents in another car a short distance away.
