A 22-year-old Senegalese worker died in an accident at work inside a warehouse in Selvazzano Dentro, near Padua. Suem 118 paramedics and the Carabinieri responded to the scene.

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the victim , a resident of Padua, while attempting to top up the fluid in a machine, became trapped inside a cylinder, dying instantly from the injuries sustained . A co-worker was injured in the accident, desperately attempting to provide assistance and free the twenty-two-year-old.

On-site, in addition to the Carabinieri for legal investigations, Spisal personnel intervened to ascertain the exact dynamics of the accident and verify compliance with workplace safety regulations.
