Worker falls from the ladder into a condominium box, killed instantly

Tragic accident at work in Bari.

This morning a worker died after falling from a staircase in a building in the private via Licio Carri.

According to the first reconstructions of the facts, still to be verified, the man was working on a fire-fighting system in one of the condominium garages. The explosion of a gas cylinder would have caused the fall . In fact, residents reported hearing a loud bang.

The police and firefighters, as well as the operators of the 118, intervened on the spot. The worker was said to have died instantly.
