A woman was stabbed to death today in Marostica, in the Vicenza area.
The crime took place around 12.50 in a mental health center.
The victim was shot dead with a dozen blows by another woman. Both are guests of the community.
The alarm was raised by some operators of the structure who called 118. In addition to the health workers who could only ascertain the death of the woman, the carabinieri also arrived and started the investigations.
The community, active for about twenty years, is located in a residential and artisanal area, not very far from the historic center of Marostica. At the basis of the stabbing, according to an initial reconstruction, there was a violent quarrel between the two women.
The victim was 53 years old; the murderer, one year older, with bloodstained hands and clothes, was stopped immediately.
Among the elements at the center of the military investigations the reason that gave rise to the dispute and whether there were negligence in the surveillance of the structure that gave the murderer the opportunity to obtain the knife with which he hit the victim.
