Francis Kaufmann, the perpetrator of the double femicide in June 2025 at Villa Pamphili in Rome, was sentenced to life imprisonment and three years of solitary confinement. The judges of the First Court of Assizes ruled.

The man is accused of choking his partner Anastasia Trofimova to death and, a few hours later, strangling their 11-month-old daughter Andromeda. The bodies of the two victims were found in a park in the capital, just a few meters apart.
