A shocking discovery was made in the province of Udine, where a man was arrested by the Carabinieri for serious crimes related to violation of privacy and possession of child pornography.

The investigation began last September after a woman reportedly found nude photographs of her daughters while checking her partner's phone.

Despite the man's attempt to destroy the cell phone before the police arrived, specialists from the Cyber Section of the Trieste Investigative Unit managed to recover the entire contents of the device, where they found numerous images of the minors, archived and catalogued. A subsequent search of the home led to the seizure of other computer media, including phones and hard drives.

During the investigation, it also emerged that the suspect, an electrician and video surveillance installer, was accessing cameras installed in clients' homes without authorization, remotely viewing and downloading images. He was arrested for this incident for unlawful interference with privacy.

Analysis of the seized material finally revealed an archive of images of the partner's daughters, some of them minors, filmed with hidden microcameras in the home, particularly in the bathroom. Given the seriousness of the evidence collected, the judicial authorities ordered the man's removal from the home.
